I only collect or use your personal information when it is necessary to deliver training and consultancy services and to ensure those services are paid for.
I collect mainly names, contact information and email addresses for my work as a trainer and freelance consultant.
Sometimes I might need you to provide me with information about your staff (names and contact details) to support delivery of training and to work with them in responding to your request for support as a data protection consultant.
I will only use your personal information under a contract we have entered into for me to provide services to you/your organisation. While that contract will establish what you can expect of me and vice versa if it requires me to use information about you or your staff, I work with that personal data on the basis of my company’s legitimate interests in providing the services you require of me.
Information provided to me by the training providers I work with is only used under their strict instructions in the terms of their contract with me and for those contracts I act as a data processor only using the information to provide training and for no other purpose without the express consent of those individuals who’s data I have access to.
Any information I collect from you is stored on secure UK based servers via my ICT service provider. They are contracted as my processor to provide services to me.
Some information provided to me by the training providers I work with may be stored outside of the UK but within the EU. I do not store this information outside of their secure systems and servers.

I will only keep your information for as long as our contract allows or while I have your consent unless I need to maintain it for other legal reasons. I may keep some limited information for financial purposes (i.e. to show who has paid invoices) but this is less likely to be personal information in most cases.
No. I don’t use any form of profiling or automated system decisions or anything else a bit sparkly in technology terms because I don’t need to and I don’t believe we should unless it’s truly necessary.

There’s a bit more information about the companies I work with below so you can understand who they are and what they do. I will only ever share the minimum personal information necessary for them to support me and provide the services I need from them. They are all bound by contract to keep any information I share confidential and use it only for the services I need them to deliver.
CloudTree are my ICT service they host and support my ICT needs and my website. They are my processor and are only able to access information on an occasional basis, on my instructions, and are bound by our contract to keep any information I share with them confidential. Canary Accounting are my accountant. It is highly unlikely I will share any personal information with them but, like Cloud tree they are my processor and are only able to access information on an occasional basis on my instructions and are bound by our contract to keep any information I share with them confidential.
